Department of General Business Administration

Students explore the field of business management so as to develop practical management skills. Our department offers courses which help students become business professionals with practical skills necessary for solving a range of problems related to companies or management activities. At the same time, faculties and students in our department are actively engaged in the study of business management, with the aim of contributing to society by disseminating the results of our research in an accurate and clear manner. In order to achieve this, students acquire understanding of the fundamental principles and the theory of business management, along with various fields of specialization. In addition, students refine their critical thinking ability by taking a broad range of courses in the humanities, social sciences, and natural sciences, and also deepen their knowledge of international cultures and information communication skills.

Model Career Paths after Graduation

Students typically pursue careers as business professionals working in a variety fields, especially those in the financial sector, information and service industries, commerce, and manufacturing industry; others work in nonprofit organizations. Still others start their own business, or become teachers at junior and senior high schools.
