Making the basis for abilities needed in society with intensive hands-on learning experience

Marunouchi Business Training (hereafter referred to as MBT) is a new style of human resource development program running for over six months with the goal of "nurturing competent personnel who can discover and resolve tasks on their own initiative."
Before an internship in a company, the students improve the ability to think logically through presentation training on the campus, and under the guidance of company representatives, they work on exercises, engage in discussions and make presentations.

After the internship, through writing reports and making result presentation, they steadily absorb the skills they have learned and practiced. Another important feature is that students from both humanities and sciences participate in the training together; this interaction is stimulating and an ideal opportunity to learn about differences in way of thinking and expertise, and experience the importance of working together.
