本校の本谷さん（高１）が「第70回チャーチル杯争奪全国高等学校生英語弁論大会」に出場し、東日本大会（10月2日）で第５位、全日本大会（11月6日）で第６位に輝きました。おめでとうございます！
本人の感想：
My speech was about the project I am doing at school, 'About Beauty'. We believe that beauty is not our looks but more of how confident we are about our own values. Through this speech, I wanted to convey that we all should create a comfortable place in order to truly reveal our inner selves and beauty, by respecting, accepting, and appreciating each others' values. I hope that this has become the inception of our project and we will be able to ultimately create an environment where everyone feels confident about themselves. All of this would not have happened without the help of my teachers, so I want to express my deep gratitude towards them.
